Weekend

Last weekend I got sick and didn’t went to work before Wednesday, so I haven’t had any energy to update me blog before now.
Today I went to a scrapbooking and stamps exhibition in Sweden. It was so nice just walking around in all those scrap stores, looking at all the great stuff and spending a lot of money. I bought two new books from Autumn leaves ” Design with type” and “design with details” and I just can’t wait to have time to read them. I also got a big acrylic blog for my new stamps which by the way are made by Fancy Pants Designs. I meet a couple of my Danish scrapbook friends and we did a lot of talking. It´s been a very nice day so fare.

Tomorrow I’m going to give the house a big clean over because my husband and I are celebrating our 12½ years weeding day on Monday . In Danish it´s called “Kobber bryllup” but I don’t know what it´s called in English. We are holding a open house party from 6.30 am so I have to get up pretty early.

I have made some more layout for DreamPapers and two cards……take a look. Thanks for stopping by.

Last weekend I got a design packet from my local scrapbook store DreamPapers, where I’m on the design team. Some very fancy papers from DCWV new rock star collection. Here is what I have come up with so fare. I have used sketches from Pencilline and my scrap calendars for inspiration to these layouts.

My Scrap Corner

I know I have been a bad blogger lately, but a couple of days ago I bought “The Sims2 Bon Voyage” for my daughter and since we only have one computer in the house……yes you guess right, she hasn’t been away from it, so her mom use it. Today I told her that there will be no playing Sims, before I have update my blog ;O).

I have had a lot of time to read in the new Danish scrapbook magazine ,since I couldn’t use the computer and I must say, I think it´s a fantastic magazine.
Many of my international cyber friends have asked me if I could show the magazine and the layout I made for it, so I have asked the chef editor Eva Dohn if I could do so. Normally we aren’t aloud to show it before a month after the issue is published, but she told me that is was okay since it´s the first issue ever, so take a look and do let me know what you think.

The cover digi layout is design by Karen aka Lindse

You can read more about the magazine here http://www.myscrapcorner.dk/
I will upload some more layouts in the weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

TOOT!

It´s been an fantastic weekend. Netti arrived Friday afternoon and we had a very nice evening with a lot of talking. Early Saturday morning we pick up Ann an old colleague of mine and then we drove to Ringsted where the convention took place. We had an awesome time at the convention together with 130 others scrapbook ladies. We did a lot of talking, laughing, at little bit scraping and spent a lot of money on shopping. I got some very cute stamps from Magnolia and I can´t wait to play with them.
Today I must admit I’m very tied and feel like I have a hangover even through I didn’t drink any alcohol yesterday ;O)

I did manage to make a double page and a single layout yesterday. Take a look.

As some of you know I have been working on a secret project and yesterday it was published for the first time, so know I think I can tell it.
Yesterday we got our first Danish scrapbook magazine ever and it all written in Danish. Well it´s not well known as Creating Keepsake or Simple Scrapbooks but it big in little Denmark and guess what ! I’m on the magazine design team.
I got my own doodling article, made a sketch for a contest and a lot of layouts in the magazine. I’m just so happy, proud and honoured to be a part of it.

Thank for stopping by.

my sweet daughter

Today topic from Jozzie´s blog challange is "Blog about a present you recently received".

Last night I was watching television, when my daughter came into the living room and ask me if I had some cardstock she could get. I said that se could look in my map with leftovers and see if there was something she could use. A few minutes later she asked me if I prefer strips or dots, and I told her that I like both. 5 minutes later she asked me if I had some strong glue she could used and I ask her to look in my tote. I started to wonder what she should used all those thing for and when she asked for my paper piercer I got very curious.Half an hour after she asked for the cardstock she came in a gave me this sweet gift. She had made it all by her self, just looking after a pictures in a hobby store catalogue. The journaling says lovely mom. Well she didn’t spell it right, but who cares I’m just so proud of my sweet daughter.

I haven’t been scraping the last couple of days, because I have spent my spare time preparing for Scrap A Mania this upcoming Saturday. It´s the scrap event of the year in Denmark and my good friend Netti is coming to stay with me for the weekend. I looking forward to se her again and to scrap, shop, talk and have some fun all Saturday long with all my good scrap friends.
Saturday is also the day where my secret project is published.
By the way here is a layout I Created using the sketch provided by Di Hickman due 31 of august . You can find her sketch at her blog.
